STAGE3 Agency is looking for a creative video editor with experience in automotive content to join our growing creative team in Pasadena, CA. We are looking for a video editor that is passionate about and an avid follower of the latest filmmaking styles and trends. You need to be a team player and possess strong communication skills. You must have in-depth knowledge of video editing and motion graphics tools. Must share a reel that includes a wide range of video styles, from high-end sophistication to high-energy action. Responsibilities: Review Creative Brief to understand project requirements Brainstorm with team to define creative direction Create storyboards and shot list for video shoots Develop an editing style for each video per the brand’s vision and requirements Work with creative teams to understand project scope and objectives Collaborate with producers, motion graphics designs and other creatives to address any issues Transcode and edit raw video footage and apply audio/video/colors/animation Color grading footage to professional standards Maintain and follow best practices for version control, naming conventions and organization of graphic files Knowledge/Skills Requirements: Creative problem solver who is well versed in different styles and techniques Knowledge/experience in video editing and motion graphics tool integration Knowledge of sound mixing and color grading Strong understanding of post-production workflow and compression techniques High level of organization and collaboration with other editors working on projects silmitaniosley Expertise in Dropbox file management Knowledge of film genres and editing styles/techniques and latest cameras Ability to follow brand guidelines Minimum 3 years of professional work experience as a video editor in automotive content Creative expertise with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other associated tools Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Proficient in Mac platform a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please submit your resume and link to your portfolio Stage3 Agency is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
