Casting Call for Actors in Calgary, Ab

Project: Heating and plumbing commercial

We are looking for actors to fill 4 roles (description below) for a heating and plumbing commercial. We are a full stack marketing company and will be producing 3 short commercials for our client starting the first week of September. This is a paid gig and we will be providing craft as well. There is a possibility of requiring roles in the future as well. This ad is projected to be viewed over 1 million times in the Calgary area by the end of the year.

Role’s:

CHARACTER: HUSBAND
(Male, 30 – 45, any ethnicity)
Personality: Each family member can have their unique traits, but overall, they are visibly cold/hot and frustrated, seeking a reliable solution for their discomfort.
Role: The family serves as the focal point in the opening shot, representing customers who face heating or cooling issues with their HVAC systems.
CHARACTER: WIFE
(Female, 30 – 45, any ethnicity)
Personality: Each family member can have their unique traits, but overall, they are visibly cold/hot and frustrated, seeking a reliable solution for their discomfort.
Role: The family serves as the focal point in the opening shot, representing customers who face heating or cooling issues with their HVAC systems.
CHARACTER: NARRATOR
(Male, 35 – 65 years old, any ethnicity)
Personality: The Narrator is friendly, cheerful, and has a matter-of-fact tone. They exude confidence in AAA Heating and Plumbing’s services.
Role: The Narrator guides the audience through the commercial, highlighting the benefits of choosing AAA over competitors.
CHARACTER: TECHNICIAN
(30-40 years old, any ethnicity)
Personality: The Technician is friendly, reassuring, and knowledgeable. They showcase expertise in HVAC systems and radiate confidence in solving the family’s problem.
Role: The AAA Technician is the face of the company, demonstrating how skilled professionals are ready to assist customers in resolving their HVAC issues.
Shoot Duration: 1 day (8 hours)
