Job ID: 641303BR Date posted: Jun. 15, 2023 Description:We’re looking for a passionate entry-level cinematographer/photographer professional to join our team of filmmakers and editors to produce cinematic marketing, promotional, and social media films/videos. Photography assignments will include program milestone\test events along with site visits and employee engagement events. The person we seek must be passionate about visual storytelling, can work as part of a team or as a one-person crew and has proven success with effective, creative ways of communicating. The successful candidate will be a strong storyteller that: Influence people’s thinkingMotivate people to actMatch or exceed the production quality of the typical media/content people consumeAbility to work under strict deadlines with competing prioritiesCapable of balancing a project’s creative requirements with schedule, budget, and resource limitationsAbility to follow established workflow and project management tools and procedures Basic Qualifications: Experience with various kinds of professional video and DSLR cameras, including Sony, Nikon and Canon. Experience with studio and location lighting and audio. Knowledge of still photography and video techniques using a variety of natural and artificial light sources. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Bachelor’s of Fine Arts, Film, Broadcasting, Communications, or related degree. Applicant must provide a portfolio and/or demo reel for review. Desired Skills: Strong understanding of shot composition for videoStrong understanding of visual storytellingExperience working location film and photography setsExperience working in studio environmentsEnhanced video post-production and photography editing skills using Premiere Pro and PhotoshopExperience with social media distribution channelsHands-on experience with camera stabilization systems and slidersBasic understanding of sound recording for digital productionExperience working within a file-based photo and video environment. Knowledge of data storage devices (memory cards, hard drives, etc.). Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
