Looking for an editor wanting to learn how to edit for social media including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc., as well as advertisements for small businesses, and possibly bigger gigs in the future. Looking for someone who loves YouTube and has a good understanding of good content on the platform. Someone who can take inspiration from TV shows, like Korean variety shows to carry over to high quality YouTube content, is an asset but not mandatory.

The content creators who are our clients, have followings of up to 1.4 million on social media.

Starting pay is a salary of $500/month, working for around 8 hours per week. Budget is low as company is small and recently launched. This position is an internship position, where mostly training (paid) is done to start. The goal is to scale to a sustainable full-time job. Minimal experience is required, but an editor with basic knowledge of either Davinci Resolve Studio (preferred so you can work with me via Cloud) or Premiere Pro is an asset. Preferrably in the Toronto area to make footage transfers easier if needed to be done locally.
