Reelarc – Actor’s Reel Production Company: Looking for Director of Photography for ongoing shoots

Job Description: Director of Photography (NYC)
Location: New York, NY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Photography to join the Reelarc team in New York City. At Reelarc, we create original demo reels for actors to showcase their talent and skill.

As a DP at Reelarc, you will be responsible for:

Filming two person scenes with high quality sound and image
Operating a Sony FX9 Camera to capture stunning visuals
Creating a lighting design and implementing your vision by setting up lights, flags, diffusion, etc.
Ensuring that all filming is completed efficiently and on schedule
Understanding and following safety protocols on set

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Extensive experience as a Filmmaker, with a strong portfolio to demonstrate your skills
Proficiency in operating a Sony FX9 Camera and pulling focus.
Ability to create a lighting design, set up and break down lights. Experience as a Gaffer/Grip is a major plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Attention to detail and a passion for producing high quality work
Experience in client facing roles and the ability to offer top-notch customer service.
