Looking for: Film/Short Film Editor, based in Toronto/GTA
Hey there, our team is looking for an experienced film editor. Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly with an amazing cast and production crew to create, Abyss, a short film based on the trauma two women have experienced throughout their lives.
Our asks:
-2+ years experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer or Final Cut Pro X (specifically with short films/film and videography)
-Advanced/exceptional work in colour grading
-Audio editing/excellent audio clean up when required (please be advised we are given all the best/clean takes of our audio though in the case for adjustment, this would be convenient)
-Fresh take on the use of sound effects and visuals
We’d love to work alongside an editor who is patient, able to communicate effectively, attention to detail, has excellent time management and a passion for film, storytelling and cinematography.
This position is paid and non-union. If interested, please submit your demo/previous works, your resume/experience plus your day or hourly rate.
