STORYLINE:  
This half-hour, single cam comedy follows Donald Jameson (DJ)as he uses his unique leadership style to make One More Time Sports in Korverton, Ontario a community destination and profitable enterprise in the modern age of online shopping and big box stores. DJ’s business acumen isn’t the keenest, but his perseverance and desire to make everyone feel special in every interaction makes him beloved by his employees and customers alike. He also wears hearing aids, which can lead to unique situations, including confusing interactions with customers, employees easily whispering secrets to each other in his presence, and DJ not hearing fire alarms while everyone is evacuating the store… to name just a few. But these setbacks do not bother DJ. His emphasis on positivity and community sets the tone for the whole store, as he and his team band together to solve the day-to-day challenges of running a small business with ingenuity and an underdog mentality. Brooklyn 99 meets Ted Lasso in One More Time, a show that proves a semi-qualified, hearing-impaired manager can lead a used sporting goods store to the promised land..

MARIE – PRINCIPAL ROLE – FEMALE – 35 YRS OLD 
Deaf, a French woman who signs in LSF. Marie is set up on a date with DJ, who is unable to understand her signing. Despite a major barrier in communication, the attraction is undeniable – Marie is very into him and makes her move.

– Talent do not have to be able to sign in LSF, need to be willing to learn.

TALENT MUST KNOW LSF and BSL. 
This sign language interpreter assists Marie and DJ as they attempt to communicate over their date. Things get confusing when three different sign languages are involved. Signs in LSF and BSL.

SIGN TEACHER – ACTOR ROLE – ANY GENDER – 30s TO 40s
TALENT MUST KNOW BSL and ASL. Jen’s sign teacher, who knows ASL and a little BSL. They join DJ’s date with Marie to help the lovebirds communicate. Talent must know ASL and be willing to learn BSL.

A man with a stutter, Robert briefly interviews to be the new “employee with a disability” at the store, only Robert’s stutter gets much worse whenever he’s about to say something socially inappropriate — and he does that a lot.
