Feature Film May 12 – 19: Need a Sound Operator and a Production Assistant — Volunteer

Casting “Scar Tissue,” a micro-budget feature film production. Seeking a production assistant and a sound operator to assist the crew. Will have a skeleton crew that will be housed for a week at a scenic cottage in Gilmour, Ontario. Cast and crew will be free to enjoy the amenities, picturesque locale, games, etc. and other upsides of a cottage vacation during downtimes.

Transportation to the location from the Toronto area will be provided (gas will be reimbursed for any wishing to drive themselves). Room and board are provided.

Looking for the following positions:

SOUND OPERATOR: Ideally a nascent, aspiring sound operator with some experience in the craft. Equipment will be provided.

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT (PA): To assist with assorted odds and ends and accrue invaluable hands-on experience. It’ll be a skeleton cast and crew so we’re seeking an extra pair of hands to plug gaps as needed. Bonus points if you’re comfortable on camera as a (non-speaking) extra.
