“Dreams in the 718” is a short film inspired by Lena Waithe’s “Twenties”.
Ashley, a lesbian, African American woman struggling with life’s responsibilities, living with her girlfriend, and being a narcissist. Ashley ends up moving in her friend Amber which brings a huge elephant in the room. Ashley is sleeping on a lot of her situations in life and ends up creating her own rock bottom.
