CASTING CALL FOR A SELF FUNDED PASSION PROJECT PILOT EPISODE.

TITLE: WORKING STIFFS

DATE: APRIL 14th 15th and 16th (Not every role is needed for all 3 days. When the roles are cast we will discuss the specific day you are needed)

TIME: TIME WILL BE DECIDED WHEN THE ROLES ARE CAST

LOCATION: Udora Community Hall. Udora Ontario. 24 Victoria Rd. L0C 1L0 (Approx 45min northeast of Toronto)

PAID: $100/DAY (Plus food, drinks, snacks etc.) If you’re interested in a really fun gig with low pay and long hours, then this is the project for you!

NON-UNION

The show follows an ensemble cast of colourful characters in a family run funeral home. It is a dark comedy which also touches on serious subject matter.

*Some of these roles had previously been filled, but due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to put out another casting call.*

BROOK- (Any ethnicity, early 20’s woman) Brook is a comedic role. She is the young wife of the funeral home founder. She is bubbly and outgoing. Even though she was much younger than her late husband, she still loved him immensely. She continuously tries to be a mother figure to her stepson who is older than her.

DUTCH- (Any ethnicity male in his 20s or 30s) Dutch is a comedic role. He is a stoner that is attempting to plan the funeral for his friend after their untimely death.

ZEKE- (Any ethnicity male in his 20s or 30s) Zeke is a comedic role. He is a stoner that is attempting to plan the funeral for his friend after their untimely death.

INTOXICATED MAN (any ethnicity 20s, 30s or 40’s) This is a comedic role. The intoxicated man disrupts the funeral service of his deceased friend.
