Although the location says Portland, I am located near Corvallis and Lebanon, so if you are in those areas, feel free to join!

I am still writing this short film, but I figured it would be better to advertise sooner rather than later.

Quick plot line: London is a 16 year old non-verbal autistic boy, living with this father, who is trying to ‘fix’ London. After London disappears, his only friend, Elbert, tries convincing London’s dad he’ll be okay.

I’m looking for actors with any experience (none – advanced)

As of right now, I am not able to pay anyone, but I can provide food and snacks as we film. As this is my first movie, the point is more to have fun with it than to make a profit.

It’s definitely a bonus if you are neurodivergent! Of course anyone is welcome, but seeing as the movie is focused on a young neurodivergent person, it makes sense for similar people to help.

Below, I will put the roles (including preferred/presenting age, gender, and their roles (main or background). Ethnicity does not matter. If you can pass as the opposite gender and want a role that you’re not, feel free to submit anyway and I’ll see what I can do. As long as you can pass as a certain age you’re welcome to the part.

MAIN: Dale West (London’s father)- 30 to 60, male

SIDE: Jami West (London’s aunt, Dale’s younger sister) – 20-40, female

SIDE: Sarah Asher (Elbert’s older sister)- 18-25, female

SIDE: June West (London’s grandmother, Dale’s mother)- 50-90, female

BACKGROUND: Any amount of people who want to be shown in the background or have a brief conversation with the main characters can join

I am still writing this, so if you are interested in a side/main role that’s not there or doesn’t fit your description, I probably have time to write you in somewhere.
