This is a role for a mid level Editor. You will work hand in hand with the creative teams helping to craft arresting visual stories across all media. You’re are resourceful and creative with a modern aesthetic who is not afraid to push the envelope. You’re a solutions-oriented individual with a desire to collaborate within a larger team but unafraid to work independently. About The Position
Hogarth is seeking a mid-level video editor with animation and design skills. You will be working in a fast paced production studio with opportunities for exposure and growth in a large advertising network.
Responsibilities

Editing a variety of projects including: social, case studies, pitch videos, web content, animatics, broadcast projects, adaptation work, etc.

Collaborating closely with creatives to help bring their ideas to life

Creating and modifying Art Cards and Photoshop files

Collaborating with producers on scheduling needs and understanding the timelines on projects

Comprehensive knowledge of workflows & prep for audio, color, Flame, and After Effects sessions.

Proficient in Premiere and Final Cut

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator

Ability to perform/design 2D animation, titling, and color correction needs

Comprehensive knowledge of codecs and compression software (Media Encoder)

Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude even under pressure

Confident and creative

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Must have the ability to communicate clearly and be highly organized

Must be able to work at our campus downtown Toronto

Spanish as a second or third language is a plus
