Video Editor (Hybrid)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A talented and passionate Video Editor to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for creating short video ads and long sales videos for marketing. You will use a script, VO, stock and original footage and Premiere to edit. Color Correction and After Effects experience a plus.

Ideal candidate has experience in video editing for short & long form video ads, and is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.

This is a full-time, hybrid position. Local candidates only.

WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE:

• Edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for marketing. Not limited to: sourcing stock imagery, caption creation, and editing the final video assets
• Editing raw video footage using Premiere and file organization
• Edit engaging short-form content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube
• Assist other Video Editors with their creatives by prepping assets, and/or organization of materials
• Manage workload effectively to meet all schedules and deadlines
• Produce video that will resonate with our audience and drive a high level of engagement and sharing, and adapt stylistically to optimize engagement
• Take ownership of knowledge from successes and failures into every new project, for further future success
• Apply brand guidelines to videos and introduce new ideas as necessary
• Address all notes and edits throughout the approval process
• Responsible for delivering the final product to the required specifications
• Maintain proper file structure and naming conventions allowing for future edits

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2+ years experience in video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
• Ability to multitask, self-motivated and a team player
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop preferred
• Interest in marketing and direct response experience is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient at managing multiple projects and able to organize, prioritize and structure workload
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Video production experience is a plus
• Comfortable with basic image editing softwares
• 1 year of experience in digital marketing preferably within digital acquisition/performance marketing
• Experience scaling and maintaining ad campaigns while hitting key performance metrics & goals
• High School or GED Equivalent
