What we are looking for – Paper Street Media, LLC is seeking a FULL-TIME Video Editor to deliver high-quality and impactful video content to our brands. This is a great opportunity for a creative, adaptable, and resourceful Video Editor. You must be a team player and have a strong background in editing narrative formats to make our scripts come alive!

Responsibilities:

  • Will be working with producers to interpret scripts and edit raw footage into a visually engaging story to achieve the producer’s vision.
  • Must possess the required skills needed to successfully edit exciting, and creative movie trailers, full length movies, and other promotional, marketing, and social media style videos aligned with the vision for the project.
  • Experience with video editing, color correction, syncing video and Have strong organizational and file management skills and be able to manage video project files, ensure proper naming conventions, and folder structures.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage their time effectively to account for downloading, exporting, and uploading of large media files.
  • Expected to embrace continuous learning, keeping up with the latest video editing techniques and industry trends.
  • Need to perform other duties as required or assigned.

Editor Requirements:

  • Familiarity with LGBTQ+ communities is preferred.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment collaborating with multiple teams.
  • 2+ years of editing experience.
  • Familiar with the overall filmmaking process, including production, videography, and editing.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using Adobe Media Encoder.
  • Experience with motion graphics and titles in Adobe After Effects (is a plus but not required).
  • Google Sheets and Google Docs (is a plus but not required).
  • Adobe Photoshop (is a plus but not required).
  • Adobe Lightroom (is a plus but not required)
