You’ll play a crucial role in not just meeting, but exceeding expectations on every project.
Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Client Liaison: You’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, understanding and interpreting their needs to the team, ensuring their vision is realized with precision and creativity.
  • Supervision on Location: Direct involvement in location shoots is essential, overseeing the VFX requirements and ensuring they align with the project’s vision and technical constraints.

  • Project Communication: Regularly update both clients and internal teams on project progress, fostering a transparent and collaborative working environment.
  • Artistic and Technical Direction: Establish the artistic vision and technical requirements of projects. You’ll set internal benchmarks, determine necessary resources, and oversee the artistic and technical output.
  • Mentorship: A significant part of your role will involve mentoring less experienced team members, guiding them to meet and exceed our high standards.
  • Team Leadership: As a senior management team member, you’ll contribute to the strategic direction of the business, identifying new opportunities and helping to expand our VFX capabilities.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Industry Experience: 10+ years in the Feature Film & Television industry, with a comprehensive understanding of the VFX pipeline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of VFX workflows and software, backed by substantial production and technical expertise.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and projects effectively, including managing budgets and on-set supervision.
  • Autonomy: You’re self-motivated and capable of managing your workload and responsibilities independently.
  • Passion for VFX: A genuine enthusiasm for visual effects and a constant desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
