Job Type
We’re looking for a Colorist for our horror film. You would be responsible for designing the color scheme of the film in order to achieve a specific mood / visual style. You’d work closely with our film’s directors and director of photography to determine what color palette will best serve the story. You would be involved in the very final phases of post-production.
**IMPORTANT**
We’re not looking to hire someone who’s looking to just drop a lut or layer and send the film back to us. We’re looking for someone who knows how to color on a major film level. We would like to see the color of the clothing, the character’s skin tones, the evergreen trees, etc. NO all-one toned blue tinted film colors. Please watch films like “Get Out’ ‘IT Two” “UMMA” and “Don’t Breathe”.
Again, this project will get the opportunity to be pitched to both Netflix and Hulu, therefore serious inquiries only and please submit prior work with your proposal.
