FEMALE Editor Wanted – Assembly Cut for Short Doc

Hey! My name is Robyn, I’m the director of the short film “Dear Tilly”. We are looking for a FEMALE non union editor to put together an assembly edit of the film as we have just finished production. It’s a micro budget film, we can pay $100 dollars in total for a rough assembly edit with a deadline of October 15th and a max of 60 hours. We are applying to many grants in hopes of paying union standard rates once approved but entering this contract it will be understanding of the $100. The clips will be catalogued when you receive them and the film will be put up on IMBD when completed with your name in the credits and featured on the film poster. We are applying to a minimum of 16 film festivals.

“Dear Tilly” is a short animal advocacy documentary framed as a letter to Carrie and Ron Shogan’s adopted daughter, Tilly, a pig with a tragically short life that inspired the two to open a sanctuary where 70+ animals now reside. While Tilly may not be here to witness the lives saved by her legacy, others can. In an effort to create closure and inspire empathy, “Dear Tilly” blurs the lines between human and animal in a time where our definition of family needs to stretch far beyond our own reflection.
