Videographer

Position Description

The Contractor shall provide video documentation support for the Sponsor’s training activities. This support will be done in collaboration with SMEs and other Sponsor team members to create finished products to be distributed via multiple platforms. The tasks described below are representative of the tasks the Contractor shall perform, however, these tasks are not all encompassing.

Pre-Production Activities:

• Planning video projects
• Scouting and surveying locations for video productions
• Storyboard techniques
• Script writing and production
• Coordinating video shoots
• Coordinating with staff for budget planning Production and Post-Production Elements:
• Camera operation, shot composition, and shot blocking
• Audio production and sound design
• Directing
• Fielding live shoots and location shoots Production Lighting and Staging:
• Applying video composition principles and techniques such as framing, lighting, perspective, continuity, and pacing (production)
• Editing in Adobe Premier Pro and AVID or any PC based industry standard digital non-linear editing system
• Executing professional editing techniques source selection, pacing, and composition
• Designing and integrating elements from the Adobe creative suite Conducting Audio Narration Production:
• Converting, transferring, and digitizing source materials
• Providing a finished production in appropriate format for a range of delivery platforms
• Networked based delivery (i.e. YouTube) and DVD/Blue-Ray authoring
• Strong customerservice skills with an ability to effectively communicate with various levels of staff and management

Position Requirements

• Relevant degree and/or demonstrated professional experience in Video and Audio Production.
• In addition to your production background we are especially looking for individuals with videography experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
