Editor cum Videographer

We are seeking a creative and driven Editor cum Videographer to join our team, responsible for bringing ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling. This role involves managing the full video production process — from planning and shooting to editing and final delivery — across marketing, branding, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and execute project requirements based on creative briefs and content objectives

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for marketing, branding, and social media platforms

• Handle on-site and in-house video production, including camera setup, lighting, audio recording, and basic directing when required

• Organise and manage your own workflow to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks

Post-Production Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for various platforms (1:1, 9:16, 16:9 formats)

• Create engaging thumbnails and supporting visual assets

• Produce social media cutdowns and highlight reels from existing footage

• Add subtitles, music, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling

• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and creative direction

Production & Asset Management:

• Set up and operate video equipment (camera, lighting, microphones) independently

• Assist in storyboarding and shot planning before filming

• Manage and categorise raw footage into organised folders for efficient retrieval

• Maintain proper file structure and backup procedures

Collaboration & Growth:

• Engage in constructive communication and idea-sharing within the team

• Contribute creative concepts during brainstorming sessions

• Continuously improve technical and creative skills through feedback and mentorship

• Take ownership of projects and progressively handle more complex assignments

• Strong communication skills with the ability to take initiative

• Organised, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects independently

• High attention to detail and quality

• Creative thinker who is bold in experimenting and turning challenges into opportunities

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of video production (shooting + editing)

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro

• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop

• Familiarity with camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording

• Understanding of framing, composition, and basic cinematography principles

• Fluent in English; Mandarin fluency is a strong advantage
