We are looking a skilled and Travel Documentary Film Editor who is available to start end of July / Early August (start date pending COVID-19 travel restrictions).
The feature film will include interviews, production footage and archival footage. You will work alongside director & producers to shape the film and take it all the way through post to delivery. This job does require you be in Los Angeles.
Creative Editor Must have experience in Feature Documentary Film Editing Required
Pay based on experience 30-50/hr

The ideal candidate has:
• 5 years + experience in video/film production as editor
• Must own and be proficient in Adobe Premiere and other Creative Cloud programs (i.e. Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Must own a Mac or Windows based PC or laptop
• Help chose effective music, SFX, and sound bytes
• Ability to do basic sound design & audio mixing
• Able to implement provided graphics and titles
• Adept at organizing projects, managing workload for multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
• Strong understanding of post-production workflow and the ability to provide recommendations to any process/workflow to increase efficiency
• Good knowledge of contemporary cameras, file formats, codecs, and their proper handling in a post workflow
• Implement creative decision making
• The ability to communicate needs in a positive and productive fashion
• Must have a reel or portfolio of work to demonstrate skills and abilities
• Must have experience working on travel content that appeals to wide audiences
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
• Experience with film deliverable requirements a huge plus
ASSISTANT EDITOR
Seeking an experienced Assistant Editor to work on a feature documentary film using Adobe Premiere. Start end of July / Early August (start date pending COVID-19 travel restrictions).
Ideal candidates must have prior Premiere experience, be meticulous, well organized, detail oriented, preempt technical issues, and understand the best project structure/architecture/ to properly build our project on this shared platform then create a workflow so that the team is able to work seamlessly. Great opportunity for an AE looking to have a bigger role on a film.
Must have past post production experience in documentary series or feature films and have previously gone from Team Projects all the way through to online. Travel doc experience a plus.
