About Us
We’re Innovate Media — a Sunshine Coast-based video strategy and production agency helping brands across Australia connect with their audiences through strategic, story-driven video.
We produce everything from brand stories and client case studies to podcast series, eLearning content, and scroll-stopping social media videos.
Our small, passionate team is known for delivering creative excellence with a friendly, collaborative approach. We’re now looking for a Lead Video Producer & Editor to join us — someone who’s as confident behind the camera as they are in the edit suite and who’s ready to grow with our expanding business.
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of video projects from concept to completion — filming, editing, and crafting stories that deliver results for our clients.
Working closely with Creative Director, you’ll help shape the creative direction of our projects, develop smarter production workflows, and contribute to our culture of continuous improvement.
While this role is hands-on now, it has clear potential to grow into a leadership position overseeing production operations and mentoring others as we scale.

-
Contributing ideas, processes, and creativity that help shape how we grow.
What We’re Looking For
-
2–5+ years of hands-on experience in video production and editing.
-
Your own transport and open drivers license. (vehicle allowance included where required)
-
Strong technical skills with cameras, lighting, and sound.
-
Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X; knowledge of Motion, Descript, CapCut, or Adobe Suite is a plus.
-
Demonstrated proficiency in Final Cut Pro X is required for this position.
-
Strong storytelling and interviewing instincts and ability to align creative output with client goals.
-
Excellent organisation and communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-
A friendly, professional approach and confidence working directly with clients on set.
-
A desire to grow — personally and professionally — with an innovative, forward-thinking team.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role.

Interest in AI or workflow automation tools.
