Seven Townsville currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Camera Operator / Editor to join our dynamic and talented News team.

We are looking for someone who possesses a high level of creativity and a camera / editing style consistent with metropolitan television.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in News and on-air operations (essential)
• A drive and passion for high production standards and creating a quality product
• The ability to think clearly, communicate, and act quickly under pressure requiring minimal supervision
• Be capable of forming productive relationships with reporters and producers
• Ability to work irregular hours
• A willingness to travel at short notice to cover breaking news
• A personality that thrives on hard work and high demands on outcomes
• An ability to work to tight deadlines and in a work environment that can change rapidly and often
• This position may require some on-call/out of hours work, and an unrestricted manual driver’s licence is mandatory.
